Edit several stores at once
Bulk actions change all the stores you select at once: set a new region as active, close your whole network on a public holiday, add a service to all your shops.
Choose an action
Section titled “Choose an action”- In Stores, select the stores to edit. See Select stores.
- In the selection bar, choose Set as active or Set as draft, or open More actions (“…”) for the other actions.
- Fill in the window that opens, then confirm.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Set as active | Publishes the stores on your online store. |
| Set as draft | Removes them from your online store. |
| Change type | Gives them the same type. |
| Edit publication | Adds them to a channel or removes them from it. |
| Edit services, Edit tags | Adds and removes services or tags. |
| Edit hours | Changes their usual hours, adds or removes exceptional hours. |
| Delete stores | Deletes them for good. |
Your online store updates in a few seconds, or a few minutes for hundreds of stores. Only the stores that change are updated.
Set as active or as draft
Section titled “Set as active or as draft”A window tells how many stores change. Confirm with Set as active or Set as draft: the list reloads with the new statuses.
Change the type
Section titled “Change the type”In Change the type of N stores, choose an existing type or add one, then click Save.
The stores keep their publishing channels. The type they leave stays in your list of types, even with no store: to rename, merge or delete it, go to the Settings.
Edit publication
Section titled “Edit publication”The Edit the publication of N stores window has one box per channel, Store page and Store locator. It shows where the selected stores already are:
| Box | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ticked | Every selected store is on this channel. |
| Dash | Only some are; the detail tells how many, for example “7 of 12”. |
| Empty | None is. |
- Click a channel to tick it (every store will be on it) or untick it (none will). Click again to go back to the dash: nothing changes for this channel.
- Read the banner: how many pages go online, or how many will be removed.
- Click Save.
A draft store is published nowhere: its page goes online when it becomes active.
Edit services or tags
Section titled “Edit services or tags”A single window adds and removes at the same time.
- In To add, tick values among those your store already uses (Frequently used), or search for one. For a new value, type it and choose Add “…”.
- In To remove, tick the values to take off. The list shows those of at least one of the selected stores.
- Click Save.
An added service or tag goes after the ones each store already has.
Edit hours
Section titled “Edit hours”The Edit the hours of N stores window offers three choices.
Usual hours
Section titled “Usual hours”Each day of the week is set to Unchanged.
- For a day to change, choose Closed, or Open with one or two slots.
- Leave the other days on Unchanged: each store keeps its own hours on those days.
- Click Save.
The days you change replace that day’s hours for each selected store.
Add exceptional hours
Section titled “Add exceptional hours”To close your whole network on December 25, for example:
- Choose Add exceptional hours.
- Choose the day, or the period with an end date.
- Add a label if you like (“Christmas”), then tick closed or enter the hours.
- If some stores already have exceptional hours on these dates, choose to keep them (the default) or replace them.
- Click Add.
The dates follow each store’s time zone.
Remove exceptional hours
Section titled “Remove exceptional hours”- Choose Remove exceptional hours.
- Choose the dates.
- Click Remove.
The exceptional days and periods that fall entirely within these dates are removed from the selected stores. Other dates are left as they are.
Delete stores
Section titled “Delete stores”- Open More actions, then Delete stores.
- If some have a page online, leave Redirect the live pages to the nearest store that is not deleted turned on: their visitors land on a nearby store instead of an error.
- Click Delete.
Deleting can’t be undone. The list updates by itself, then a message confirms Stores deleted.
