# Statistics

The app's **Analytics** page shows what your visitors do on your store locator, your store pages and your country and city pages: how many see them, how many ask for directions, call or write, and what they search for.

## Choose the period

The button at the top of the page offers the **Last 7**, **30** or **90 days** (30 by default). Next to it, the period's dates and what it is compared to: the days before, over the same length of time.

The period applies to the whole page. It stays in the page's address: a shared link shows the same period.

## Evolution

Four cards sum up the period. Each one gives a total and its change against the period before: green when it goes up, red when it goes down.

| Card | What it counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Views** | The views of your store locator, your store pages and your country and city pages. |
| **Actions** | The directions, calls and emails asked for on your stores, from the store locator, the store list, a country or city page, or their page. |
| **Action rate of the pages** | The actions taken on the store pages, divided by the views of these pages. It changes in points. |
| **Searches without a result** | The searches after which the visitor chose neither a city nor a store. Here, a rise is red: it is demand you don't serve. |

Click a card for the chart to follow it. The chart shows the card's total, and the period before as a dashed line. What each page or each type of action brings is in the breakdown below. Hover over the chart to read each day's figures.

## Breakdown

- **Views by page**: the share of the store locator, the store pages, the country pages and the city pages.
- **Actions by type**: the share of directions, calls and emails.

## Stores with a page

The table ranks your active stores that have a page:

| Column | What it counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Views** | The views of its page. |
| **Actions** | Its directions, calls and emails, from the store locator, the store list or its page. |
| **Rate** | The actions taken on its page, divided by the views of its page. |

Click a column header to sort the table; click again to reverse the order. By default, the most viewed pages come first.

## What your visitors search for

- **Searches without a result**: the 5 most frequent searches that found nothing. They are cities where your visitors would like to find you, or names they know your shops by.
- **Most searched cities**: the 5 cities where your visitors found a store.

## Elsewhere in the app

- The app's home page sums up the last 30 days: views, directions, calls and searches. Click a figure to open this page on its chart or on the searches.
- A store's page shows its own figures. See [A store's details](/docs/merchants/store-details/#statistics).
- Sidekick can answer your questions about these figures. See [Sidekick](/docs/merchants/sidekick/).

:::note[Good to know]
- Only the visitors who accept analytics, in your store's cookie banner, are counted. The figures are a minimum.
- These are not the page views of Shopify Analytics, which count every visitor.
- Visits in the theme editor are never counted.
- The views of the store list block aren't counted: it can sit on any page. Its clicks are in the **Actions** card.
- A store without a page has no views: it isn't in the table, but its actions on the store locator are in the **Actions** card.
- The figures are counted from the first day of collection, shown at the bottom of the page.
